Sharing the Adventure Reading Starts

Welcome to the NAD Tutoring and Mentoring Community Engagement Initiative STARS. In this page, you will find resources that will help you present the vision to your church or ministry, find and share resources, and inspire congregations and ministries to consider launching a local program in their community. A tutoring and mentoring program in your community will not only strengthen children’s reading skills and mentor them in life skills but also create meaningful connections between churches and their neighborhoods, opening doors of hope and making a lasting impact for eternity.
During this two-hour webinar, we will explore how the pandemic has affected children’s social-emotional well-being from birth through the teen years. This lasting legacy will continue to impact families, schools, and communities for years to come. Participants will leave equipped with practical strategies to support children of all ages. Join us for our free webinar: COVID-19 and its impact on the well-being of our children.
