II. ACS Education
ACS Education Event Request Information
NAD ACS is your partner to elevate the ACS programs in your territory. A limited number of slots are open each year to work together to plan an ACS educational event in your territory. If you would like to be considered for this unique partnership, a completed request should be submitted at least 12 months prior to the proposed date.
General requirements for the event:
- Attendance: At least 75 participants
- Duration: Multi-day event
- Content: A mix of inspirational, informational and practical (how-to) presentations
Conference/Union responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Union ACS Director
- Promote within the conference and union
- Provide location and equipment for the event
- Handle food and lodging arrangements/options
- Handle preparation of class materials (copies of handouts etc.)
- Administrate attendee registration
North American Division responsibilities:
- Provide financial subsidy for the event
- Assist with/oversight of program event outline
- Create promotional material
- Promote Division-wide
Coordinated Responsibilities:
- Identify relevant class topics and potential speakers
- Connect with relevant speakers
- Coordinate speaker confirmation and reimbursements
III. Grant Information
1. Disaster Response Grant
