Disaster Ministries Honor Requirements (pdf)

To help instructors and Pathfinders teach this honor, we've provided a few resources specific to the requirements for this honor.

Requirement No. 7 is to complete the Introduction to Disaster Preparedness course.  This course is offered by Adventist Community Services Disaster Response (ACS DR).  It is taught by North American Division trained leaders who have been appointed in their conference by their Conference ACS Directors.

Please check with your local ACS director, or if unavailable, contact your area coordinator, or conference Community Services director to find out when a Introduction to Disaster Preparedness course near you may be taking place.  Consider having your church host this short 3 hour course for not only your youth, but the entire congregation- invite the community too!
