  • International Institute of Christian Discipleship (IICD) - The International Institute of Christian Discipleship (IICD) (formerly International Institute of Christian Ministries [IICM]) is a component of the General Conference Sabbath School and Personal Ministries Department. IICD is an umbrella under which various types of instruction (specializations) can be offered online that will fit within the purview of religious education, church leadership, global mission, and outreach.

The IICD Community Services & Urban Ministry Certification Program (IICD CS & UMCP) is the newest IICD specialization and it contains modules with teaching notes and an accompanying PowerPoint presentation. The IICD CS&UMCP modules help equip church members to serve their community and administer programs that meet expressed needs of the residents of these communities. See more info.
