California Fires Devastate Communities - Paradise is Destroyed
The camp fires In California have destroyed the towns of Paradise and Magalia. The Paradise Seventh-day Adventist Church has a membership of 1500 with a high school adjacent to the church. The Magalia Upper Ridge Seventh-day Adventist Church has 150 members. The Chico Seventh-day Adventist church has been approved by American Red Cross (ARC) as a shelter but right now is assisting the survivors with blankets, towels, toiletries, clothes, etc. Members are able to stay at other Sunday churches in Chico that are set up as shelters with the ARC.

Feather River Adventist Hospital is gone. The hospital was able to safely evacuate 60 patients and transfer them to other facilities.

Please pray for the individuals, families, and children affected by this tragic event.
