On July 8, 2012 Pastor Eric Shadle, from the Richland Seventh-day Adventist Church began a cross-country bicycle trip from Richland, Washington with plans to arrive at the NAD in Silver Spring, MD on September 5, 2012. He is embarking on this adventure to raise money for diapers and awareness of the need many children living in poverty have for diapers in this country. He is praying that with this ride he will be able to raise $250,000 to purchase one million diapers for needy babies! As you may know, most individuals in America today are not aware of the desperate need for diapers so many families struggling in poverty face.
