Volunteers needed for distribution of goods for survivors of Hurricane Irene
Adventist Community Services Disaster Response, in partnership with Feed the Children, will be distributing relief supplies at five locations through Pennsylvania and one in New York on Sunday, September 18. All individuals and families affected by Hurricane Irene and severe storms may pick up goods free of charge. Distribution will begin at 10:00 am and continue until 2:00 pm or when supplies are exhausted. Additional volunteers are welcome and should report at a distribution location by 9:00 am. Distribution will take place in the parking lots of Lowe’s, corporate sponsor, in the following six locations:• 4000 Union Deposit Road, Harrisburg, PA
• 1845 Hempstead Road, Lancaster, PA
• 2449 East Market Street, York, PA
• 50 Lunger Drive, Bloomsburg, PA
• 2154 Elmira Street, Sayre, PA
• 225 Sycamore Road, Vestal, NY
